It's taken me so long to post an update from my half marathon because I have to admit me and my sister both forgot to bring our cameras. I know. I always do that. I have this great camera and I forget to use it. Anyways, I'll tell you I finished in under 3 hrs. (which isn't great, but hey, at least I finished)! And I was 18 out of 27 in my age group! And guess what, I think I'm going to do it again. I need to train during the week more and I'd love to train with someone. So, if you're up for running 13.1 miles on sand, let me know!!! It was a great feeling of accomplishment (after all the pain went away and I had a medal)!!!

Wow, Wendy! Thank goodness there are people like you that are dedicated enough to run in marathons. (And there are people like me who say, "Good for them, I could never do it!") Congrats. :)
Yay for you. I've been waiting to hear how it all went -- such an accomplishment. Love it!
