A Trip Down Memory Lane!

I am stealing this from Ashlee who stole it from Stacy, who stole it from Ali...It sounded fun!

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

3. Keep it clean---no dirty secrets!! j/k

okay, I have to say my favorite memories (and I have a lot so I am very fortunate!) are when we have time one-on-one. Like one Christmas when we stayed up late talking while everyone else went to bed and another time when we came to visit in Buda and you and I went on a late-night walk and we got to talk just us. As far as my favorite FUN time... HAS to be last Thanksgiving for my very first Black Friday shopping experience at like 4 a.m. with you and your mom. THAT was a blast - we were in the mall shopping for bras before most of the American world was even awake! :)

My first memory of you was sitting in church and I was complaining to Lena Stum about not being able to find an apartment. She recommended Iron Rock, and you piped in about how you lived there (and thus implying it's superiority to any other place!) And all I remember thinking was, "Is that girl pregnant? Her daughter is so tiny!" (Random, I know, but there it is.) And of course all the girls nights, where I got to know you and find out how hilarious you are!

How bout this... you decided to be kind and teach me how to drive. You were telling me that when making turns I should "brake going in, and press the gas when going out." I started to turn onto King Circle when I drove straight into the ditch!!!!!!! That was awesome!

Valentines Day party baby! You threw a lingerie party and I brought the "funny" gift! I never would have expected you to want an edible jock strap so bad!!!

So I'm a little late on this, but I just couldnt' pass it up when I saw the opportunity to recall soooo many "sister" moments. How about the time you had your first kiss (Travis Carroll) and I knew you were hoping for it on a Saturday night so Sunday morning, when you walked into church, I turned to look at you and you gave me the thumbs up...like you were so cool to have your first kiss at 16 YEARS old! And I can say that because I didn't have mine until the following Saturday and I did the same thing for you that Sunday morning! How about sitting in Alys room, listening to Last Of The Mohicans Soundtrack and dreaming about the perfect hottie we would marry (Oh how reality sets in:), or stalling ten million times on Grant Rd in after school traffic when you were learning to drive my stick shift car:)...fourth period post-quitting-basketball days (and I can leave it at that)! Oh this is fun...okay, I'm coming to the reunion...this settles it! See you SOON!

Love,
Ashley

Hello Wendy!
Some memories I have are coming to Houston for a Christmas with the whole family and shopping with the fam. Also, just playing when we were really little although Amy and I probably tormented more than played. Good times.
